Born in Munich, Germany.
After graduating from “Staatliche Fachakademie für Fotodesign Munich” in 1996, I got my first practical experience as a photographer when working with BMW Zeitung, jetzt magazin and allegra.
End of 1997, I went to New York to expand my knowledge as an assistant in photography. I devoted myself to fashion, people, and portrait.
In New York, London, and Paris, I assisted photographers like Ellen von Unwerth, Steven Meisel, Mario Testino, Steven Klein, Arthur Elgort for the period of four years.
Subsequently, I started to work on my own, shooting portraits of actors like Harvey Keitel, Willem Dafoe, Megan Fox and working for magazines such as Nylon, New York Times, Fader, Papermag, Textilwirtschaft as well as for clients like Hugo Boss, Rubin Chapelle, and Sony Music.
